I chose to trade Rodrigus Rana, the frog, (my third item) with Retha, for two business books.
Retha was a good sport, and allowed Rod the Frog to go on many adventure, that included trips:
- to the UK to attend a wedding,
- sailing in Mozambique,
- rushing around Mumbai,
- visiting China and
- even going down a copper mine in Chile.
- Let alone all the trips he did around South Africa.
On one of those South African Trips, Rod joined George Scola, a stroke surviror, on his epic 2437 km walk from Beit Bridge, in the far north of South Africa, to Cape Point, in the far south. When they were passing through a farm along the Limpopo River, near botswana, Rod met his girlfriend Gerda Antoinette Koekemoer. They’ve been inseperable ever since!
